Nicholas DiCarlo is Vice President of Product Planning for the wireless terminals division of
Samsung Telecommunications America. Nick guides the product strategies that have powered
Samsung into the #1 position in the U.S. market, thanks to the launch of iconic products such as
the Galaxy S Family, Galaxy Tab family, the ATT Infuse 4G, Droid Charge, and the first Android
powered T-Mobile Sidekick 4G.
Prior to joining Samsung, Nick worked in various strategy, product planning, and customer care
functions for Nokia.
Nick holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Bucknell University and an M.B.A. from
University of Texas at Austin.
In his keynote, Nick Dicarlo, Samsung Mobile’s Vice President of Product Planning, will be discussing Samsung’s success with Android powered smartphones and tablets, such as the Nexus S, the Galaxy Tab line of devices, and the new Galaxy S II. He will examine the evolution of these devices and highlight Samsung-specific Android development opportunities for existing and new form factor devices – like the recently announced Galaxy Note – as well as cross-platform and convergence opportunities across smartphone, tablet, and Smart television within the Samsung ecosystem and the development resources available from Samsung to support these efforts.
